Global Environmental Policy

Global is committed to learn, understand, embrace and promote the environmental aspects it can influence both internally and externally. Global’s Environmental Management System (EMS) will grow and develop in line with the businesses continued growth and development. The following Management Principles shall be applied through the EMS in an effort to achieve the businesses Environmental Goals.
Consultation
To create, develop and drive Global’s EMS an Environmental and Waste Committee has been formed, this committee meets monthly. Activity throughout month is monitored and evaluated as part of weekly Production meeting.
Planning
• Understand and identify past, present and potential environmental impacts
• Understand and identify Legal and other requirements
• Understand and identify Objectives and targets
• Create Action list and assign responsibilities
• Draw on external support – Print Industry Association; Joss Group (mentor)

• Weekly Production meeting – each person assigned specific responsibilities to report on progress, performance and hassles.
• Monthly Environment and Waste Committee meeting – more detailed look at progress, performance and hassles of each initiative.
